AH Rules

Alberta Health rules have been added to give a warning or error message when trying to use a service code that is not eligible based on a timeline of when the service code was last used.

For example, service codes for annual physical exams that can only be used once a year.

Located under the Setup menu > Edit AH Tables > Rules Setup. Filter by a single HSC code to review any existing rules; and add additional service codes or modifiers, and rules in the bottom portion of the window as required.


To add a whole new rule, click New and enter the rule along with any service codes that apply.

To add a new code to an existing rule, click add code, a new box will appear at the bottom to add it to the list for a specific rule.
