Connect Care lab codes

Open the doctor’s client card, select the practitioner tab.

Provider ID: This serves as a distinctive identifier for each doctor within the province, facilitating communication to testing facilities about the specific ordering provider.

    *Note, EPIC Provider ID is the same as Connect Care Provider ID.

Submitter ID: This identifier is crucial for designating the practice location of the doctor, ensuring lab results are accurately directed to the intended location.

Department ID: This identification code specifies the doctor’s specific location, specifically for the transmission of diagnostic imaging, endoscopy, and cardiology intervention results.

 

*NOTE, the submitter ID and department ID will align for each doctor within a clinic.

Healthquest has incorporated these updated forms, extracting data from the practitioner tab on their client card. Ensure that the usage frequency for the new forms is set to “often”, while adjusting the old forms to “never”. This can be do in the form management window.
