Create a third party record

On occasion, a service may be billed to a company instead of the patient, such as an insurance claim. In such cases, create invoices on the patient’s record that are directed towards the third party.

There are a few steps to set up prior to creating the invoice on a patient chart. If the third party is already set up, skip to creating an invoice.

 


Click on the admin menu.

  1. Select edit third parties.

  1. Click new, fill in the pink required fields.
  2. Enter in the address and other contact information.
  3. Click save.

From this window, you can also print labels and or envelopes with the address of the third party on, click the labels or envelopes tab, click print.
