Doctor view for virtual visits

On the doctor view in the appointment list, there will be a small camera icon on the row indicating it is a virtual visit.

At the time of appointment, wait for the camera to turn green and a connect button appears, this indicates the patient is in the waiting room. Click the button to connect with the patient.

Wait for the patient to arrive in the waiting room, and the connect button appears before clicking on anything to join the appointment. If the patient is not yet in the waiting room, clicking on the camera will cause the camera icon to turn red and display a warning to advise that the patient is not yet in the waiting room.

From here a window will appear in healthquest giving you the option to scan the QR code to connect to the visit with a mobile device, or to copy the URL to a web browser.

Both options will lead the physician to the screen shown below.

The patient will appear in the larger picture screen (currently shown in black as though the camera is turned off), the physician will appear in the bottom right corner as an image, showing what the patient will see.

*Note, there is a chat function on the right, so links can be shared for resources, or for clarification of what is being spoken, or for any reason to type instead of talk.

The chat history will be included in the patient’s chart for documentation.

*Note, the video conference and audio will not be saved anywhere, once it is over and patient’s/physicians are disconnected, it will be gone.
