Doctors working at multiple site locations

Sometimes doctors work at multiple locations, if they are set up as different sites within your database, we can set up additional doctor cards for the differing locations.

 

Step 1.

Create the secondary card for the doctor within the practitioner tab on their client card.

  1. Open the client card and click the practitioner tab.
  2. Click next highlighted below, click yes to add new.

  1. Enter all the applicable information on the card, including the new ‘ref name’ for the secondary location, for example ‘Bonnersp’ for the Sherwood Park location.
  2. Click Save.

Step 2.

Update the program setup so upon login the doctors will need to choose the doctor card (location) that they are at for the day. Program Setup > Admin > General tab > “Prompt Doctors to choose Doctor card”.

You can manually switch doctor card if already logged in via the windows menu, select ‘switch doc card’, click the appropriate doctor’s name from the list, and click ok.
