Sending patient portal invites

Send patients an invite to create their patient portal account from the client card or the charting window.

Click on the patient messaging tab (on client card or charting).

Select ‘Send patient portal invite.’

A default templated message will appear, or select a different template saved in your clinic. (Contact support if changing this template to make sure the invitation link is correct.)

Click the preview button, to show what the patient will see.

Click send.

Once the patient has registered for the patient portal, the client card and charting patient messaging tabs will both have a link to ‘Send patient portal message’.

Re-sending a patient messaging invite

If a patient portal invite has expired, you can re-send patients an invite to the patient portal from the client card or the charting window.

Click on the patient messaging tab (on client card or charting).

Select ‘Re-send patient portal invite.’

A default email template will appear, use this, or select a different template and click send.

End dated patient’s patient portal access

Once a client card has an end date, the patient will no longer have access to login to their patient portal.

Existing patient messages will remain on the patient chart as read only.

New messages cannot be created.
