The reference panel is a feature that
offers a convenient way to access a patient's most recent labs, requisitions,
intake forms, etc. It remains visible as you navigate the patient's record,
allowing for quick and easy reference. Additionally, it enables the clinician
to add new items to the record while remaining in the current chart note.
Find the reference panel along the right
side of the patient chart, click on ‘Show Reference Panel.’
Once open, the
reference panel will be open on all charts subsequently.
Benefits to using
the reference panel:
Easy visual reference of other
items within the chart, without having to leave your note.
Drag and drop items with 6
little dots to the left of the item.
Allows for easy documentation in chart
notes; problem history, latest lab values, medications, and patient messaging
can all be dragged into a chart note using the 6 little dots next to the item.
Click, drag, and drop where required.
