Renewing medications

Renewing medications

Renew from charting overview, the reference panel, or on the medications tab. All these methods will navigate you to the meds tab.

On the overview, 

  1. Click a medication, ctrl + click if selecting multiple,
  2. Click the renew button,
    1. Select ‘Renew selected.’
    2. Select 'Renew all active and continuous'.

On the reference panel,

  1. Click 'renew all active and continuous'  or 'renew selected'  (ctrl + click if selecting multiple).

       

On the meds tab,
  1. Click a medication, Ctrl + click if selecting multiple, from the list of active meds.
  2. Click the renew button.

If multiple medications are selected, a warning message will ask you to confirm if you want to renew # prescriptions.

  1. Click 'print prescription'.
  2. A message will pop up asking if you wish to print all together or only the one medication that's open.
  3. Select applicable answer.
  4. If confirming you want to renew # prescriptions, click yes.

  1. Each medication will renew with today’s date, opening the meds tab.
  2. Click print prescriptions.
  3. A question will appear asking if you wish to print all of today’s medications.
  4. Click yes.
