Sending check-in links within appointment reminders

Set up message templates to include check in links for patients. This is beneficial in appointment reminders that go out a day or two before their appointment.

Patients can confirm (or cancel) their appointment via the appointment reminders, then when they arrive, they can ALSO check in using the provided link to take them to the self check-in home page.

Under the setup menu, select ‘text/email/voice template setup.

Select the template to add the check in link to, this may be a text template and an email template if using both reminder methods.

1. Place the curser where the link should appear.
   
2. Click insert form fields.
   
3. Click patient.
   
4. Click check in.
