The hold tank

The hold tank

The hold tank serves a similar purpose to the wait list. It is a holding area for multiple appointments that need to be actioned.

Some example uses of the holding tank:

  1. A practitioner cancels their clinic day – drag all appointments into the hold tank to rebook.
  2.  Appointments will move into the holding tank if a new schedule template is applied to a practitioner and the appointments no longer fit at that time. (A warning will pop up stating some appointments have moved to the holding tank.

Open the hold tank from the toolbar along the left side, click the ‘hold’ button. (To close the hold tank, click the hold button again).

To manually add a patient to the holding tank, drag the appointment over the hold button on the toolbar, or open the hold tank and drag the appointment to the holding tank window.

To book the patient from the hold tank, open the schedule to the day to book, open the holding tank, drag patient name from holding tank to schedule.
