Third party statements
Third party statements can be generated in the same way patient statements are created, as well as from the third-party record.
Third party statements
Under the admin menu, select edit third parties.
- Search for the third party in
the lookup.
- Click on the statements tab.
- Select a company or check off
all companies.
- If only looking at one
company, the option for a detail statement is available.
- Click retrieve, the statement
will display.
- Click print for a paper copy
or to save as a PDF.
Client
card third party statements
- Note the patient loaded, the third-party statement
will only reflect that patient. Use the lookup icon to change to a different
patient.
- Select the date range for the statement.
- Choose a company and practitioner if applicable.
- Select who is responsible for payments, such as the
patient or a third-party company.
*Note, when selecting a third-party payer, the statement is
limited to the current patient that is loaded.
- Check off unpaid only and or overdue warning boxes
if applicable.
- Click generate statement.
*Note, if any changes are made to the criteria selected, click
generate statement to display those changes on the displayed statement.
- Click print to print or save file as a PDF.
Client menu third-party statements
Use the client menu to select statements to print client statements, this option is great if looking to print statements of multiple patients or third parties at the same time.
- Choose a company if applicable.
- Select who is responsible for payments, such as a
third-party company.
- Choose between outstanding, detailed, or
distributions.
- Select the date range for the statement.
- Check off multiple companies if applicable.
- All patients or third parties will be highlighted,
deselect any that a statement is not required for.
- Click print statements, the save window will appear,
saving each patient’s or third parties statement in its own PDF.
