Worklist introduction

Worklist introduction

Worklists are internal communication regarding a specific patient between staff and clinicians, found on patient charts, and staff inboxes. Worklists can be used to assign tasks to an individual or a group of employees.

Worklists will be activated for you as your clinic is set up with Healthquest. (This can be found in the program setup > system > worklists).

Example uses of a worklist

  1. Provider requesting staff to contact patient to book appointment to review test results.
  2. Reminder to follow up with patient in 3 months (Adjust Start and Due Date 3 months into the future).
  3. Patients call into the clinic with a message for the provider.
  4. Set a recurrence for every 3 months to connect with a patient (for well checks, or reminder to repeat labs etc.)

Worklists can be found:

  1. On a patient’s chart, top right corner, click worklists.
  2. Staff member assigned worklists appear in personal inbox on the right side of the screen.

  1. Doctor view: All practitioners within a clinic can use the doctor view, this is a great navigation tool, including many items including all uncompleted worklists assigned to that practitioner.

Filter the worklists by status, employee, or task type.

*Note, the employee and task type dropdowns are not available on a client worklist window.
