Patient messaging introduction

Patient messaging is a secure platform allowing patient and clinician to communicate electronically.

Setup patient messaging based on your clinic comfort levels:

  1. Allow patients to initiate messages to the clinic.
  2. Allow patients to respond only to existing open conversations.
  3. Allow patients to receive messages from the clinic only.

Benefits to using the patient messaging:

  1. Ability to send patients quick messages that are documented on the patient chart, unlike a phone call.
  2. Sharing items on the patient chart (Requisitions, results etc.) with the patient as an attachment saving patients going into collect, or the clinic cost of mailing it out.
  3. Reach more patients with enhanced communications with patient messaging without filling your day with extra appointments that could be solved via messaging.
  4. Skip the middle person, remove the chances of misinterpretation when messages are shared through another person.
  5. Send out batch messaging to all patients meeting a specific criterion. For example, all patients due for a screening test, send them the requisition!

Contact your client services representative today to enable this feature within your Healthquest!
