Keyboard shortcuts in letters

Healthquest provides a variety of keyboard shortcuts that enable the formatting of paragraphs, tabs, bullets and numbering, fonts, and more.  The following includes a full list of all the Healthquest keyboard shortcuts.

  1.  Ctrl + 1 - Tabs dialog
  2. Ctrl + 2 - Bullets and numbering formatting window
  3. Ctrl + 3 - Paragraph formatting window
  4. Ctrl + 4 - Table properties (only works if cursor is in a table)
  5. Ctrl + 5 - Signature selection window
  6. Ctrl + 6 - Save the current font and size as the default font and size
  7. Ctrl + 7 - Indent paragraph left (increase indent)
  8. Ctrl + 8 – Indent paragraph right (decrease indent)
  9. Ctrl + 9 – Hanging indented paragraph
  10. Ctrl + 0 – Remove hanging indented paragraph
  11. Ctrl + A – Select all
  12. Ctrl + B – Toggle bold
  13. Ctrl + C – Copy
  14. Ctrl + D – Font properties window
  15. Ctrl + F – Find window
  16. Ctrl + H – Find and replace window
  17. Ctrl + I – Indent
  18. Ctrl + K – Subscript selected text (repeat to return to normal text)
  19. Ctrl + L – Superscript selected text (repeat to return to normal text)
  20. Ctrl + M – Carbon copy (cc) window
  21. Ctrl + N- Restart listed numbering
  22. Ctrl + P – Print
  23. Ctrl + Q – Display naturally speaking edit box
  24. Ctrl + R – Toggle displaying control characters
  25. Ctrl + S – Save
  26. Ctrl + T – Third party lookup
  27. Ctrl + U – Toggle underline
  28. Ctrl + V – Paste
  29. Ctrl + X – Cut
  30. Ctrl + Y – Redo last undo
  31. Ctrl + Z – Undo last action
  32. Ctrl + F2 – Insert date
  33. Shift + F2 – Jump to next ‘??’
  34. Ctrl + F7 - Spell check
  35. Ctrl + F8 - Print preview
  36. Ctrl + F9 – Display client lookup window
  37. Shift + F9 – Display referral doc lookup window
  38. Ctrl + F10 – Refresh letter head area
