Communication introduction with PrescribeIT

Communicating with a pharmacist electronically can save the phone tag or waiting on hold forever.

Here is the PrescribeIT communications view from the doctor view.

If a message comes into Healthquest through PrescribeIT to a practitioner without it being linking to a patient, there will be a lookup icon next to the client label, click to search for a patient and select the correct one.

You can also click the lookup icon to change the patient the message is currently linked to if it is incorrect.

 

Once the communication is linked to a patient, it can be further linked to a specific medication on the patient’s record. Click the lookup icon where the medication would be displayed, a list of the patient’s current medications will appear to select from.
