Billing chits

Need to enter a billing claim, but are not logged into Healthquest, enter a billing chit on the Healthquest online app. This will save all the details of the claim for you until you log into Healthquest to officially complete the claim entry.

For example, you complete a phone call with a patient after work hours, but don’t want to forget the details such as timelines for billing purposes, create a billing chit on your phone to save you logging into a computer.

In the Healthquest online app, from the menu select billing chits. (If you do not see this option on your app, log into Healthquest, on your desktop, and under setup > program setup > billing > AHC. Check off ‘Use HQO billing chits.)

Click on lookup a client, search for the applicable patient and select.

Enter all the billing claim details as required.


Click Save.

To see recently created billing chits, and if they have been billed or not, click the 'View Recent' button in the Billing Chits section.


Log in to Healthquest to pull up all the billing chits, entered on the Healthquest online app, the next time you are using your computer.

Click on the billing menu and select ‘Mobile billing chits’.


Click on ‘bill’ to open the ‘AHC claim entry’ window, all the details will populate in the AHC claim window from the billing chit.


Make any changes and click ‘Done’ to bill the claim.‘
