User generated quick codes that can be used everywhere
in the EMR (except in Instant Messaging and Letters (letters have their own)) to
generate your predetermined text. To create macros, go into Setup ->
Autocomplete/Macro Setup. Execute your macro by pressing the space bar. For

Use ?? when creating your macros to create a placeholder where you can insert text. Once you execute your macro that contains the double question marks, select the first ?? in your text, replace with your desired text and then press Tab to cycle to the next ?? in your text.
Appointment Schedule Window
Find Button: Search for available appointment spots, for more information on utilizing this feature,

Stats Button: Display the days appointment count, including a break down per appointment state. Click on an appointment status to track the time between appointment states.

Bill AHC Button: Create an AHC bill from the schedule view.

AHC Billing
AHC Billing Macros can be used to prefill your billing
fields with information, especially helpful when you need to bill numerous

Client or Third Party Billing
Client Billing Macros can help you to have multiple items added to an invoice automatically by entering a quick code, to save time entering the same details on a regular basis. To create client billing macros, go into Admin -> Client Billing Macro Setup. For more information, please click here.
WCB Billing
When billing a medical care invoice, first report or progress report, a macro can be used to quickly fill in the billing portion. For more information,

Letters
Letters have their own version of autocompletes and macros. For letters, this feature is a bit different as you can create autocompletes, which you execute by pressing the space bar, or macros, which you execute by double clicking. Both can be created under Setup -> Letters -> Auto Complete or Macro Setup. Utilize ?? as placeholders so that you can add specific details into your autocompletes/macros. For more information,

Use form templates to create user specific versions of forms. Setup requisitions or other forms so that you have pre-populated text or checkboxes (example: diabetes labs, over 40 physical). To find out more about form templates,

If you find that you always hand out the same group of forms for the same medical concern (example: a first prenatal), streamline your process by creating a form group. These can be created with blank forms or utilizing your form templates.

Medications
Save commonly used medications as a favourite - once the prescription has been selected in the patient's medication tab 'save as favourite' will appear at the bottom.

Charting
Defaults
Create default text in your charting templates to increase efficiency in your appointments. Use defaults to populate you chronic disease management prompts or to ensure you've asked all necessary questions in a prenatal visit. Do you have text that must be documented when you complete an injection or procedure? Use defaults to generate this text.
